Helpful Information

We are a local `grass roots’ self funded group that provides assistance to residents on the Tomaree Peninsula who are Breast Cancer patients.

All funds raised or donated to our group stay in the Tomaree area and are used to support people living in the Tomaree Peninsula with Breast Cancer.

All our services are free to the patients; all costs are covered via our fundraising and generous donations from local businesses and residents.

We have Monthly Get Togethers for those we have assisted to meet together in a happy environment, sharing experiences with our Volunteer Drivers and others on their Breast Cancer Journey. On completion of treatment we celebrate with a commemorative gift.

We hold a monthly morning tea for current and previous patients current and meet at the Acacia Room, Tomaree Library, Salamander Bay.

We provide the following free of charge:-

Driving to cancer related medical appointments in the Newcastle/Maitland area
House cleaning, lawn mowing and child minding at the discretion of the Committee
Wigs, scarves and bouncing boobies
Underarm cushions and pack crafted by members
Any other assistance where possible
Telephone and face-to-face support
